Anime Legacy Simulator Adventure Upgrades: Best Order to Spend Tokens
The best order to buy Adventure upgrades in Anime Legacy Simulator, what each of the nine upgrades changes, and how to keep earning Dungeon and Trial tokens.
The short answer: spend your Dungeon and Trial tokens on Fighter Damage first, Drop Rate second and Player EXP third. After those come Luck, Gold and Gacha Luck, and only once everything else is maxed should you buy Range, Player DMG and Attack Speed. That is the order an experienced player recommends in a full walkthrough of the menu — and the same player is quick to add that it's advice, not a rule: in reality you can upgrade whatever you prefer and fill in whichever stat you feel you're lacking.
How to buy Adventure upgrades
Everything happens in the lobby. Adventure upgrades are paid for with tokens from Dungeon and Trial runs, spent at the Adventure Upgrade station in the lobby, which sits beside the Trials and Dungeons areas. To open the menu, click the globe icon and then the Adventure Upgrade icon; the menu lists the upgrade stats, and you purchase levels from there.
Earning tokens is repeatable — you simply re-run Dungeons and Trials to farm more. Early levels come quickly: a player in his first hours of the game had enough tokens on hand to max out every Adventure upgrade available at the time in a single lobby visit. The final levels are the expensive part. Update 1 raised the Adventure upgrade level cap from 20 to 30, and the top levels cost quite a lot, so plan on farming Trials and Dungeons heavily to finish them off.
The nine upgrades and a sensible buying order
The Adventure Upgrade menu lists nine upgradeable stats. Here they are in the recommended order, with what each one changes:
| Priority | Upgrade | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fighter Damage | The damage your fighters deal. Max it before anything else. |
| 2 | Drop Rate | Your drop rate while farming. |
| 3 | Player EXP | The player experience you gain. |
| 4 | Luck | Adds a bit of luck toward pulling better units. |
| 5 | Gold | Gold for players who farm money, mainly to donate to their guild, which grants plenty of stats in return. |
| 6 | Gacha Luck | The outcome of gacha pulls — potions count as gacha too. |
| Last | Range | The size of your attack circle, letting your character and pets hit multiple enemy clusters at once. |
| Last | Player DMG | Your own player damage. |
| Last | Attack Speed | How fast you attack. |
Why Drop Rate comes second
Drop Rate's early slot is about momentum. When your drop rate is high, farming earns you more upgrade points per run, so every Dungeon and Trial visit pays more toward the upgrades that follow. Get Fighter Damage and Drop Rate maxed first, and the rest of the list funds itself much faster.
Why Range, Player DMG and Attack Speed go last
Range enlarges your attack circle so your character and pets can hit several enemy clusters at the same time without walking between spawns — maxed out, the circle grows huge. The catch, according to a player who actually maxed it, is that even the enlarged circle can't cover every group of monsters, even in Tower Defense where monsters stand still in groups, and he rates maxed Range's overall impact as small. That first-hand result is why the recommended order pushes Range, Player DMG and Attack Speed to the very end, after every other stat is maxed.
Where this fits in your progression
Adventure upgrades form a simple loop: run Dungeons and Trials, spend the tokens, farm faster, earn more tokens. If you're still finding your feet, the beginner guide covers the early game step by step, and the progression guide shows how these upgrades sit alongside your fighters, gear and other stat systems. When the high levels start draining your tokens, that's your cue to get back into Trials and Dungeons.
