Anime Legacy Simulator Summoning Guide: How to Summon at Stars and Control Every Pull
Learn how to summon fighters at Stars in Anime Legacy Simulator, what each pull costs, and how Star Settings — Auto Deconstruct, Auto Sell, Auto Lock — control every result.
Summoning in Anime Legacy Simulator happens at the Stars — the spinning summon points placed in every world. Walk up to a Star and open it, and each pull gives you a fighter; the Star Settings menu at that same Star decides what happens to the result, whether it is kept in your Backpack, sold into Yen, or instantly dismantled into food.
How to summon at a Star
- Find the summon Star in your current world. Each world has its own, and the per-pull price is displayed at the Star.
- Walk up to the Star or stand on its summon banner and use the Open control to spin.
- Each result appears on screen as it lands, including Shiny outcomes.
- Turn on the auto-spin toggle to keep pulling hands-free, and press Stop star when you want the run to end.
Opening any Star for the first time also grants the First Star Open badge.
What a pull costs
Star pulls are paid with Yen. The price of one open is shown at each Star and climbs as you progress into later worlds: players have seen around 75k per open in one world, 2 million at another Star, and 40 million per pull on the Seven Deadly Sins update banner. Treat the label at your current Star as what a pull there costs — those numbers are individual observations, not a stable price table. If your wallet is thin, the latest Anime Legacy Simulator codes are worth a check before a long session.
What you can pull
Every summoned fighter carries a rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary or Mystic, with Shiny variants of units on top and a Secret tier that the official badge catalog tracks separately (the First Secret Fighter badge). If you are hunting the rare ends of the pool, our secret fighters guide and shiny fighters guide break down both.
Control each pull in Star Settings
Click the gear icon at any Star — reached on the ground machine or remotely with Remote Access — to open Star Settings. It lists four pull-handling options: Announcement, Auto Sell, Auto Lock and Auto Deconstruct (displayed as Auto-Delete on some menus; the icon row shows a skull, a silver coin, a lock and a flower-style icon). Three of them decide what happens to every result:
Auto Deconstruct: turns pulls into food
Set Auto Deconstruct for the rarities you do not plan to equip — for example Commons, Uncommons and Rares — and every pulled unit of those rarities converts into food the moment it lands, instead of taking up inventory space. Conversion happens at pull time during summons paid with Yen.
This is the setting most players want left on, because duplicate units rolled from Stars are the game's primary sustainable source of fighter EXP food — you cannot summon raw food directly from a Star. Configure it once and every junk pull arrives pre-dismantled, ready to feed your lineup; the fighter leveling guide covers how to spend that food.
Auto Sell: turns pulls into Yen
Auto Sell converts summoned fighters into Yen — and nothing else. If you need EXP food, keep Auto Deconstruct active for the rarities you want as food, because selling returns currency only and a sold fighter cannot be recovered as food. The exception: some players deliberately set Auto Sell from Rare and up as a Yen-farming method once their roster no longer needs every duplicate.
Auto Lock: protects the keepers
Before any mass-deconstruction, lock what you cannot afford to lose — high-tier units, Shinies, or units carrying rare traits. Use Auto Lock at the Star or tap the per-unit lock icon, and do it before the auto settings run so locked units survive them.
Already sitting on duplicates? Dismantle them manually
If you pulled with the auto settings off and your Backpack is clogged, clear it by hand: open Backpack/Inventory and go to the Fighters tab, select the duplicate units, press the dismantle button at the bottom right of the UI (next to the trash can icon) and confirm. They convert into food instantly.
Tip the odds before you spin
A few tools change your chances before the first pull:
- Hatch team. Roll a Luck 3 trait onto spare Mythical or Shiny units, then swap that team in before rolling Stars — it improves Secret and Shiny odds. The traits must be on your equipped team before the pulls, not after; our passive rerolling guide explains how to land them.
- Potions. Mystic, Secret and Shiny potions raise the chance of those tiers, and Egg Speed potions speed up hatching. Potions are consumables, so spend them on the banners you care about.
- Gacha Luck. This upgradeable adventure stat affects gacha outcomes when you pull.
Pull during mutation weather
Timing matters too. While a mutation-bearing weather event is active — Toxic Fog, for example — any unit rolled from the Stars has a chance to arrive with that event's mutation, whatever its rarity. Clear and Cloudy weather give general luck buffs but no mutation chance. Windows are short, typically 5–10 minutes, and the confirmed route is at summoning: tests have not shown a way to add mutations to fighters you already own. The weather guide and mutations guide cover the system in detail.
Equip what you summon
Recruited fighters go into team slots. The lineup grows past its base size: one permanent extra slot for beating Dungeon Round 50 and two additional slots from the Extra Equip gamepass, for a lineup of up to six champions. The dungeons guide covers the Round 50 push.
Summoning faster (all optional)
- Remote Access (799 Robux) — open Stars and roll gachas anywhere across the maps instead of walking to them. In-world Stars keep working without it.
- Fast Open (499 Robux) and Multi Open (499 Robux) — accelerate how fast you hatch stars, which mostly means generating duplicates — and therefore food — faster while Auto Deconstruct is on.
- Auto-spin does the same job for free at the normal pace: set your Star Settings, toggle auto-spin, and come back to press Stop star.
The short version: walk to a Star or open it remotely, glance at the price label, set Auto Deconstruct for the rarities you do not need, lock your keepers, and let auto-spin run.
