Anime Legacy Simulator Weather Guide: How to Check It and What to Do in Each State
Find out how to tell which weather is active in Anime Legacy Simulator using the on-screen weather bar, and what to do during Clear, Cloudy, Aurora, Rainy, Meteor Shower and Toxic Fog weather.
Weather in Anime Legacy Simulator changes on its own — randomly and constantly — and every state applies to the whole server at once. To tell which weather is active right now, look at the weather status bar on the right side of the screen: it names the current weather pattern, shows the time remaining on its timer, and tells you whether a mutation is currently available. Read that bar first and the rest of the system is easy to plan around.
Why the weather is worth watching
Each active weather state hands out its own temporary server-wide buff, and fighter mutations are tied directly to the active weather rather than being rollable at any random time. That makes the weather bar a decision tool: some states are for drop farming, some raise summon luck, and a few short events are the only time mutations can arrive on newly rolled fighters.
What to do in each weather state

How to catch a mutation window
Mutations only come with special weather events, such as Toxic Fog and Meteor Shower. When a desirable one begins:
- Watch the timer on the weather bar. These events usually last around 5 to 10 minutes, so the window is short but workable.
- Roll fighters from the Stars or Gacha banners while the event is active. Any unit summoned during the event can inherit the active mutation — Common, Mythical, Shiny and Secret rolls all qualify.
- Skip mutation hunting during neutral weather. While Clear, Cloudy or Aurora is the active state, the mutation chance is 0%, no matter how nice the luck buff is. Ordinary rolling is fine then; mutation rolls are not.
Mutations arrive on fighters summoned during a matching weather window, and no known method adds one to a fighter already owned — which is what makes the live window the moment that matters, so treat the live weather window as the moment that matters. Weather effects beyond mutations
Rolls during some weather can come back with weather-based combat abilities. One early-launch player showed off a fighter with a fire-setting ability he said he rolled while the weather was set to fire, and described hot-weather rolls attacking with burn and poison-weather rolls inflicting poison. Those are his own names for the weather and may not match the state names on the weather bar, but the takeaway is the same: check the weather before you roll, because the roll can come back changed by it.
