Anime Legacy Simulator Beginner Guide: Your First Fight, Fighters and Next Objective
The Anime Legacy Simulator beginner guide: start your first fight, roll fighters at summon Stars, feed your team, and find your next quest objective.
Spawn into Anime Legacy Simulator and a short tutorial starts right away: follow the arrows to your first fighter, then click on an enemy to begin your first fight. Every enemy you defeat grants XP. That first scrap sets up the entire opening loop — roll more fighters at the summon Stars with Yen, feed and equip your best units, and follow the quest panel to your next objective. Here is how each part works, in the order you will meet it.
Start your first fight
The tutorial walks you through the basics: follow the arrows to your first fighter, then click on an enemy to attack it. From there you can keep fighting with manual melee attacks, or enable Auto Attack and let your character keep swinging hands-free — handy once you start working through kill-count quests.
Press Z to use your equipped weapon's skill, but note that brand-new players have only fists until they obtain a weapon, so your earliest fights are pure melee. If a keybind feels awkward, you can view or change all of them in the Settings menu.
Every defeat feeds XP into your player level. This is your avatar's own progression, separate from your individual fighters' levels. The level screen shows your available points and the rewards per level, and you can invest level-up points into your attributes as you go — our Anime Legacy Simulator best stats page covers where those points help most.
Roll your first fighters at a Star
New fighters come from the summon Stars placed out in each world. Walk up to one and spin it — Star pulls are made with Yen — and flip on the auto-spin toggle if you want it to keep rolling while you fight.
Before you burn through your Yen, click the gear icon at the Star to open Star Settings. You will see four handling options: Announcement, Auto Sell, Auto Lock and Auto Deconstruct (some menus label that last one Auto-Delete). Set Auto Deconstruct for every rarity you do not plan to equip, and those pulls convert into fighter food automatically instead of cluttering your inventory. Leave Auto Sell off unless you specifically want currency — selling only returns Yen and forfeits the EXP material you would get from deconstructing.
Our Anime Legacy Simulator summoning guide covers rolling for units in more depth.
Feed and equip your team
Food from deconstructed duplicates is what levels your fighters. To feed one:
- Open the menu's Fighters section and select a fighter that is not max level.
- Click the Feed button.
- Choose the food amount — or use the add-all option — and confirm.
The unit's level and damage rise on the spot. Besides deconstructed summons, consumable rations such as the Starter Pack's Pirate Rations and Rice Balls grant fighter EXP directly.
If you forgot to set Auto Deconstruct, you can dismantle manually: in the fighters list, use the dismantle icon next to the trash can, select the units and confirm. One caution — lock your high-tier units before mass-dismantling so you do not accidentally recycle something you wanted to keep.
Equipping is just as flexible: from the fighters menu you pick which fighters fight alongside your avatar and can swap them in or out at any time, limited only by your team slots. The Anime Legacy Simulator fighter leveling page has more on pushing levels further.
Find your next objective
Quests are tracked in a panel in the lower part of the screen, and each map quest lists a kill count for a named enemy — on the first islands you will see targets like 20 Kuma, then 15 Hob Loot, followed by Bug and AOK kill counts. An orange corner indicator marks the active quest, and defeated enemies respawn at the same spot, so you can farm the count in place. Exact names and counts change from map to map.
On the starting island, the first quest comes from Nami: claim it, defeat the listed enemies, then turn it in to her. The portal to the next island, Sky Island, sits right there, and you can walk straight in after the turn-in. Later worlds follow the same visible pattern: the main quest icon points you to clear the map's monsters, and clearing them unlocks the next world. The Anime Legacy Simulator worlds page breaks down what each one holds.
Three quick wins in your first hour
- Roll your Haki. A Haki NPC stands near the starting area. You receive Haki and can spin it for tiers — spins were shown at 10 each, with an auto-spin option — and a rolled Haki appears on your character's hand. The map's opening menu lists Missions, Haki and Prestige as the early stops.
- Claim the free rewards. Developer rewards arrive in the in-game inbox/mail, so claim them whenever they land. The achievements menu redeems milestones you have already reached, the Index rewards section grants extra items, and there is a daily reward track that includes daily gems. Codes may appear over time too — our Anime Legacy Simulator codes page tracks the current list.
- Skip prestige for now. Prestige unlocks at player Level 50, so a fresh account can open the section but cannot use it yet. Ignore it during your first sessions; the Anime Legacy Simulator prestige guide covers it when you get there.
That is the whole opening loop: fight, summon, feed, and follow the quest panel to the portal. Every new island repeats the same rhythm, so the habits you build in your first hour carry you through the rest of the game.
