Anime Legacy Simulator Commandments: Where They Drop and How to Unlock Their Bonuses
Commandments in Anime Legacy Simulator drop only from the World Boss in the Seven Deadly Sins world at an estimated 5% per defeat. This guide covers the spawn window, the unlock mission, and the leveling tasks that activate and upgrade each Commandment's stat bonus.
Commandments in Anime Legacy Simulator are permanent stat-boosting items added in Update 1 by StarX Inc. They drop from a single source — the server-wide World Boss — at an estimated 5% chance per defeat, and a fresh drop is inert until you complete its assigned objectives. Here is where the boss spawns and the exact task chain that activates and levels each Commandment's bonus.
Where Commandments drop
Every Commandment comes from the World Boss, the server-wide raid encounter introduced in the game's first major update. According to Update 1 gameplay data, Commandments have an estimated 5% drop chance per boss defeat — a community-measured figure rather than an official rate — and creators reviewing Update 1.5 cite the same 5%.
The boss spawns in the Seven Deadly Sins world; gameplay footage places it on map 4. It appears once every hour, exactly on the hour, and stays active for only 15 minutes. If the server fails to defeat it before the timer expires, it vanishes and pays out zero rewards, so Commandment attempts are only possible inside that window. For the fight itself, see our World Boss guide, and for the rest of the world's content, the worlds overview.
Objectives that activate and level a Commandment
A Commandment's power opens up through its own multi-tier task chain, not through farming extra boss drops:
- Get the drop — once. You only need each Commandment to drop a single time; duplicate copies are never used to upgrade it. There are 10 Commandment types, each with a different buff and its own individual tasks.
- Complete the unlock mission. Receiving a Commandment assigns an initial task — for example, defeating 250 enemies. In-game testing shows those kills count on any standard enemy across the map, so clearing weak starter mobs is the fastest way to activate the bonus.
- Work through the leveling missions. Once unlocked, the Commandment presents further milestones that ask for larger kill counts of regular enemies or specific map bosses. Each completed milestone raises the Commandment's level and strengthens its bonus, up to a maximum level of 10. Leveling runs entirely on this grinding — repeated World Boss RNG plays no part in it.
Mind the Upgrade button. Reaching a milestone does not advance the task by itself; click Upgrade to jump to the next objective and its larger kill number. Since Update 1.5, surplus kills carry into the next milestone — farm 3,000 and roughly 800 carry toward the next target — while before 1.5 those extra kills were wasted unless you upgraded at exactly the right moment. Even now, the upgrade is still a manual click.
What Commandments boost
Each of the 10 Commandments is tied to a specific player or fighter attribute. The documented bonus categories are:
| Bonus category | Applies to | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| General Damage | Weapons & pets | Increases overall output for weapons and companion units |
| Fighter Damage | Equips / units | Direct percentage boost to active fighter damage |
| Player Experience | Player avatar | Boosts leveling progression toward the Level 125 cap |
| Luck | Gacha & rolls | Improves base luck odds on banner spins |
| Shiny Chance | Fighters | Enhances the odds of rolling shiny unit variants |
| Drop Rate | General loot | Increases item and resource drops from defeated targets |
Every Commandment carries a thematic in-game name, its own buff, and its own task list — those tasks are what carry a bonus from level 1 to level 10.
Commandments vs. Relics
Update 1 also added a separate nine-relic system that is easy to confuse with Commandments. Relics drop from dungeons, map bosses (Maps 1 through 4), and trials at significantly lower rates, and they upgrade with Adventure Tokens; Commandments come from the World Boss and level up strictly by clearing their assigned combat tasks. The relic side of the system is covered in our relics guide.
In short: catch the World Boss on the hour in the Seven Deadly Sins world, win your single drop at about 5%, then let the kill tasks — not more boss RNG — carry the Commandment to level 10.
